New Release Update // Ruby My Dear

That man from Ad Noiseam has graced us with another track from the forthcoming "Remains of Shapes to Come" album from the freshest sounding breakcore act of the moment, Ruby My Dear.
"Monk's Dream" continues the trend that Ruby has set so far, with a lush and calming intro followed by his frenetic and tight beat-slewing. Listen below to taste something fresh from a genre that many think dead... Ruby continues to boldly resuscitate the scene with his daring and immaculately put together sound. New Release // Ruby My Dear Whourkr Remix

Listen to this totally rudeboy remix of a track from Igorrr and MULK's project - Whourkr, whose quite brilliantly titled '4247 Snare Drums' (2nd) album came out this week on Ad Noiseam. The remixed track is Gastro-Equestre, and Ruby My Dear has added his unique diabolically precisely engineered flavour with his re-imagining. Essential purchase for anyone interested in killing the rave in all kinds of evil ways.

New Music // Ruby My Dear Album Announced on Ad Noiseam

Ruby My Dear's first full length album has been announced for release on Ad Noiseam, and from the sound of the first preview (listen below); it's aiming to put the beautiful and intricate back into breakcore. New Artist Signing // Ruby My Dear

Ruby my dear is a French composer merging breakcore, IDM and jungle; an heir apparant to Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Squarepusher or Venetian Snares. His tracks blend dreamlike atmospheres in a rhythmically sharp and complex fusion - leading the listener through a changing sonic universe and destabilising the listener through permanently shifting contrasts.

Perhaps his most prestigious moment was being selected in 2010 by DJ Shadow for his remix of 'Building steam with a grain of salt'. This was published on the compilation "DJ Shadow's remix project". In 2011, he released two EPs on the infamous Peace Off (the essential French label), and an EP on Acroplane Records (UK). An album is scheduled for early 2012 on Ad Noiseam. He plays regularly on the European scene (Poland, Germany, Scotland, France, Ireland, Belgium,England) and regularly tips dancefloors sideways with his precise beat mashing. Check out a set by him here and contact jef@methlab-agency.com for bookings!
